Specialist in all things sound, from sonic interaction design to bioacoustics and machine learning for audio applications through to game audio and music performance. Founder of OTOMONO and former research scientist at the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (JP). Visiting researcher at Sensilab, Monash University (AU) and the Computer Music Research Group at the University of São Paulo (BR). Current member of the Society for Bioacoustics (JP) and the Soundscape Association of Japan, and former member of the AI Music Creativity (AIMC) forum. Alumnus of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Sound and Music, Queen's University Belfast (UK), the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London (UK), and the Equipe de Neuro-Ethologie Sensorielle (ENES) bioacoustic research lab at the University of Lyon (FR).
